One of the most memorable projects that we organized this year was Bratislava Art and Wine. It was an inspiring activity for a multinational air conditioning manufacturing company, which chartered a Danube cruise for its associates.
On a Sunday morning, blessed with pleasant, sunny weather and a light breeze, 160 guests disembarked for the Bratislava Art and Wine program. After our Royal Bratislava walk through Bratislava’s Old Town, dotted with Baroque palaces, there followed a visit to the neoclassical Primate’s Palace. The Kaiser Quartet performed a private concert in the palace’s Hall of Mirrors. The morning concluded with an exclusive visit to the Nedbalka Gallery, which is a fascinating example of modern architecture that hosts a unique collection of modern Slovak art. Everyone enjoyed a wine sampling and commentary by our friend Rasto, who is a boutique winemaker managing several family terroirs and a leading Slovak wine expert.
The visit to Bratislava lasted only four hours, but the city left a strong impression on our guests.
