Enjoy Slovakia DMC collaborated with a Moscow-based partner agency to host a dealers conference for a major Russian car distributor in Bratislava on March 1-3, 2012. A chartered plane with 260 delegates on board landed at Bratislava Airport, just 20 minutes’ drive from the city centre. The event began with a fascinating excursion to the Volkswagen car plant on the edge of the city, where conference delegates observed the ultra-modern production process; they later relaxed with sightseeing in Bratislava’s painstakingly restored Old Town, accompanied by our experienced Russian-speaking guides.
The programme included a full-day conference, and an outdoor presentation of car models in front of the conference venue. Two evening events were organized for the client: the first was a welcome reception, held at an exclusive venue overlooking Bratislava’s skyline and taking in Bratislava Castle and the Old Town. The buffet dinner included traditional Slovak dishes as well as international cuisine and was accompanied by a range of excellent wines produced in Slovakia. On the second night we organized a VIP banquet using an important industrial heritage site – the production hall of a former tobacco factory – as the venue. The formal evening included company awards for top achievers, and a convivial atmosphere was ensured by live classical music, followed by jazz tunes and disco beats until late into the night.
